Being able to afford safe and efficient housing is a challenge for many people. From time to time, some of us experience circumstances that threaten our standard of living.

Tayside Community Options offers attractive, efficient and affordable non-profit housing. Our 18 modern townhouses and appartments are available in Perth for all age groups, family composition and physical abilities. Rents for all units are geared to income.

Confidentiality is assured at all times. Units with wheelchair access are available.

Nonprofit Housing

We will continue to explore development opportunities for social and supportive housing options in our community. With the Federal and Provincial programs we are hoping that the many low and moderate income families in our community who need affordable housing will have an opportunity to live in high quality and secure communities that they can afford. A number of proposals were developed during the year but nothing has been funded to date. Tayside will continue to explore possibilities in this sector.

Tayside also made a submission to the official plan review process suggesting amendments that would encourage the development of non-profit housing in Perth.
