St. John's School age Program provides care for children from junior kindergarten age through to 12 years of age for before and after school throughout the school year. We have access to the schools library and gym as well as the class room we are situated in. Care for full days on the Christmas break, March break and professional development days, as well as a summer day camp for children 6 - 12 years is provided at our Wilson St. location.

Ratios

The staff to child ratio with our school age children is 1-15.

Snacks

The St. John's program provides nutritious snacks for the afterschool program that meet with the Canada Food Guide recommendations.

Indoors

The children are kept busy with such activities as art, board games, supervised computer games, books, drama and construction toys.

Outdoors

The children are supervised at all times and have the use of the basketball nets and a large portion of the playground.
