Ratios

All Qualified staff are members of the College of Early Childhood Educators. The staff to child ratio with our Junior and Senior Kindergarten and School age children is 1-15.

Snacks

The senior centre provides nutritious snacks for the afterschool program that meet with the Canada Food Guide recommendations. During full day programs a morning and afternoon snack are provided.

Outings

During the summer the day camp take field trips bi-weekly, as well as walking outings around the community.

Outdoors

Children are supervised in our fenced in playground and staff to child ratios are met at all times. The play structures are inspected yearly by a certified inspector to ensure that we meet all of the CSA safety standards. As well the yard is inspected daily, monthly and seasonally by our staff.
