Supported Independent Living (SIL) Counsellor 2
TEMPORARY, PART-TIME – 60 hours bi-weekly
This position is expected to begin on or about Sunday, October 26, 2025 and is expected to end on or about Saturday, January 10, 2026 with a possibility of extension or early return.
As case manager you will counsel, facilitate community access and provide some in-home supports to persons with developmental disabilities. Very flexible schedule, based on client needs. Weekend, evening and holiday work may be required.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in social services from a recognized Ontario College.
- Experience working in the mental health or developmental services field with case management responsibility.
- Pharmacology course from a recognized Ontario College or equivalent.
- A mature and conscientious individual who is creative, flexible and interested in maximizing the integration of residents into the community.
- CPR, First Aid, Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Interention (CPI) training.
- Valid G drivers’ license with a clean abstract and regular access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance.
Hourly Rate: per CUPE Collective Agreement (Union position)
