75 hours bi-weekly – Temporary, Part-Time Position, split shifts.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL POSTING #250304 – TayCare Children’s Centre – Educator – Junior Centre

As part of a child care team, you will assist staff in providing a daily program for children in a safe, secure environment in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the program and the Child Care and Early Years Act. Educator must be familiar with the “How Does Learning Happen?” document. Fulfill all the obligations and responsibilities as outlined in the job description. The hours of work will be determined by enrolment and operational requirements and are subject to change.

Required Qualifications:

• RECE or non-ECE (RECE preferred);
• If ECE, be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators;
• Have Standard First Aid and CPR prior to start;
• Have a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check.

Pay Rate: as per Collective Agreement CUPE Local 4474

This position is expected to begin on or about April 6, 2025 and is expected to end on or about June 26, 2026, with a possibility of extension or early return.
