Permanent Full-Time – 80 hours bi-weekly – TayCare Junior Centre
As Head Educator you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of staff and children in the Before and After Program. You will be responsible for communicating with the principal and teachers in the school in which your program is located in a professional and cooperative manner. As part of a child care team, you will assist staff in providing a daily program for the children in a safe, secure environment in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the program and the Child Care and Early Years Act. Fulfill all the obligations and responsibilities as outlined in the job description. The hours of work will be determined by enrolment and operational requirements and are subject to change.
Required Qualifications:
- RECE;
- Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators;
- At least 2 years experience in a licensed childcare setting;
- Have current Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Have a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
Pay Rate: as per Collective Agreement CUPE Local 4474
This position is expected to begin on or about July 2, 2025.
