A group of area parents will hold a press conference in Perth this morning to give an overview of the challenges faced by area families in accessing services locally for people with developmental disabilities. Members of Tayside Community Residential and Support Options and direct support workers, want the provincial government to provide the necessary funding to stabilize existing services, while increasing access to support, the most vulnerable. They say, wait lists for services and supports for adults and children with a developmental disability are at an all -time high in the Perth area.
